Get read young adult fans, it’s official, Fox Television has ordered the pilot for the Lauren Oliver mega hit Delirium. Originally slated for a film adaptation, the producers decided against turning this complex story into a feature and opted instead for a television series. On her blog Oliver enthusiastically announced the big news, stating, “That’s right, DELIRIUM might be coming to you soon as a TV SERIES!” Read the entire announcement on her blog. THE TAMING OF THE SHREW AGAIN?

According to TheWrap.com Anne Hathaway will star in an upcoming adaptation of the William Shakespeare play, The Taming of the Shrew. Abi Morgan, writer of Oscar nominated The Iron Lady, is also rumored to be adapting the play.

Variety is reporting that  the 2012 bestseller Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn is set to be adapted for the big screen (it was just a matter of time really) and producers have their sights set on David Fincher to direct the thriller. Fincher, who is famous for his dark style already tried his hand at adaptions with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, so this might be a perfect fit. Reece Witherspoon is reportedly co-producing the film.
