This sweet story about a princess whose playtime is cut short because of a little rain would be a great addition to your preschoolers book collection. The message is loud and clear; don’t fret little pet, the rain will clear and everything will be status quo before you know it. What mom or dad doesn’t tell their kid that daily?

Now my little princess loved this book for several reasons: One, the colors are bright and the book includes a LOT of pink (my daughter has a pink obsession that borders on addiction); and  two, because it’s about a princess, albeit a cranky, bossy, cry because mommy can’t change the weather system brat, but she’s still royalty and that always wins over my kid. But don’t worry, even Princess Addison sees the error of her ways and changes her demonic foot stomping behavior.

If you need a book that helps with those moments that make you wish airline tickets to far off islands that prohibit children were cheaper then Princess Addison Gets Angry is a good option. It will satisfy your darling daughters penchant for pastel royals, while throwing in a lesson Miss Manners would approve of. It lost a quarter of a point because I don’t particularly like all the books based on princesses…what’s wrong with Soccer Star Addison, or Math Wiz Addison?
