Lauren Oliver, the highly popular bestselling author of  the Delirium series, has released her latest and final installment in the saga, Requiem. This action packed dystopian story takes readers deeper into the resistance fight, which leads into an “all out revolution” with Lena front and center. The hardcover edition will include a bonus story about Alex, Lena’s first love. And if you are one of the books hardcore fans, don’t fret, because this story will soon make its way to the small screen.

This year the Book Expo America will be coming to the Javits Center NYC the last week in May and a press release has just been issued naming the authors and books for the BEA Editors Buzz Forums. This is a launching pad for many books and we have included a link to the list. Here is a snippet.

As has been the custom for the past several years, BEA will present three separate panels, including Adult Editors Buzz, Young Adult (YA) Editors Buzz and Middle Grade Editors Buzz.  The Buzz panel presentations, which feature book editors discussing the individual selections, will be supplemented with an Author Stage appearance for the chosen authors. According to Reuters, Nook’s device and e-books have taken a hit this year, losing out to the more popular readers like the Kindle, Apple iPad and Google, which offer greater access to apps and book choices. Even with Nook’s addition of their textbook service, revenues fell 25.9 percent to $316 million. Is this the beginning of the end for Barnes and Nobles’ e-reader ? Only time will tell.


Halle Berry Signs Onurl-10

For all you X-Men fans, the newest installment of the hugely successful blockbuster series titled, Days of Future Past will be shooting soon and as we reported earlier, much of the cast has already signed on, except Miss Halle Berry. In an interview with’s Laura Saltman, the beauty who plays Storm has confirmed her reprisal, stating, “I’m in. I think I’m in,” She joins, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence. The movie is scheduled for release July 2014.
